Wall Meat is so proud to bring the pilot program for Beef to School for the Wall School District. Attending the Governor's Summitt and hearing presenter Amy Shafer Pravecek describe the Wyoming program, we considered this a must do for the kids and our community. After much discussion and planning with the school, local producers, Ag Committee and governing agencies, we are proud to say we consider this program a resounding success. We have since added 6 more schools to the Beef to School Program. The New Underwood, Custer/Hermosa, Faith, Philip, Edgemont and Kadoka kiddos are now also benefiting from this program.

We were honored to receive this award from the South Dakota Beef Industry Council. We love to promote our local beef to everyone and to be recognized for our efforts was awesome!
We are super excited to a part of this well known program, also. Being able to serve our locally produced meat to our elderly, and hear how much they enjoy it, has been so rewarding!

We just wanted to send out a big thank you to all who helped with Ag Fest last week in Pierre. We especially want to recognize Ken and his great crew at Wall Meat Processing for preparing and donating the amazing meatballs that we served! Many legislators and ag leaders from across the state agreed we served THE best food at the event!! It was a huge success.
WEDC had a booth at the 2019 Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo. During this event people had an opportunity to sign up for a package of $150 lodging in a Wall motel or campground, $100 in Wall Bucks (to be spent in Wall) and a pass to the Badlands National Park. We had 405 entries. Congratulation to the winner Patty Donnelly! We will be contacting you in a next couple days.
1st annual Parade of Light for the City of Wall. "OH what fun it is to ride" on our first lighted float during the parade. Thanks to some creative minds (aka Janet's daughter) the theme of our first float was "Hold the Cookies, Santa wants a Steak".
